The hotel in Columbus Georgia
We stayed in a really nice hotel in Columbus just on the Alabama border about 4 hours north of Panama City Beach. The best place we've stayed in so far.
Playing in the car
Piper with the new sea jelly toy we bought at the Aquarium and Rain with the Baby Driver toy. For the most part they sleep and play in the car. I can squeeze in between them and feed them cheerios or a bottle until we get to a food break if need be.
Crazy Billboards
One of the billboards we saw along the way. (We've been keeping a video journal of some of the odd signs we've seen) We've seen several signs for Gun and Knife Shows all the way down...but none that coincided with the National Peanut Festival (go figure?)
Portside resort
We made it! Some pictures at the resort with Great Granny and Great Grandad.
Outside to play
The girls first "taste" of dried grass. Rain loved it...fistfuls..."Can I eat it? Let's try." Piper was wary..."What is this stuff? Ouch...ick...nature is touching me!"
Hats!
Notice Rain is trying to sneak in a grassy snack while Piper distracts us with taking her hat off repeatedly.
