Frequently Asked Questions

One of our friends suggested we do an FAQ section so that we don't have to keep answering the same question over and over.

Q. Are they fraternal or identical twins?
A. We don't know yet. We are still waiting to hear back from the lab.

Q. Did it hurt?
A. Hell yeah! But it was worth it!

Q. When will the twins come home?
A. Rain is home as of May 20th. We are hoping Piper will be home sometime later this week.

Q. When were they born?
A. Rain was born on May 8th at 11:13pm and Piper was born on May 9th at 12:11am. 58 minutes apart. Two different birthdays!

Q. Did Jen have a C-section?
A. Nope. Normal delivery.

Q. Are you tired?
A. Yes, but not as tired as we would be if we had them home. It's tiring having to go to the hospital all the time to see them but I'm sure it will be more tiring having to care for them 24/7.

Q. Where did you get their names from?
A. Catherine Rain...Catherine is Jen's maternal grandmothers name as well as her first name. Rain we just liked! Piper Ann...Ann is a variation of Ben's maternal grandmothers name and Piper we just liked too!

Q. Which was was "Home" and which one was "Away"?
A. Rain was "Home" and Piper was "Away".

Q. How many diapers did Jen get at her Mom's shower?
A. 1176
