Road Trip to Florida - Feb 2007

This is a full sized replica of the Parthenon in Greece...this one is a lot closer to visit and pretty much deserted.

The Gaylord Entertainment Centre and the Nashville Predators
We took the girls (dressed in their Leaf jerseys of course) to the game that night and paid $15 dollars US for our seats. Everyone was friendly and the fans were really into the game. They were chanting during the game like at a European soocer game or the Rocky Horror Picture Show. The couple behind us were seasons ticket holders and they said it cost them less to get seasons tickets to the Predators than it did to see one Titans game. The mascot comes down on a rope from the ceiling, they have cheerleaders and for intermission amusment they bungee tether two fans together and make them try and put basketballs into buckets on opposites sides from one another (now tell me you wouldn't like to try that!). Overall it was a ton of fun and the girls were smiling and making friends with everybody. I don't have any pictures from the game because I stupidly forgot the camera at our creepy motel....grrrr!
