We're packing up the kids and heading to Florida to visit the girls great grandparents. Here are some photos from the trip.
Staying overnight at Aunt Heidi's
Rather than fight our way across the city in rush hour we went and stayed overnight at Aunt Heidi's

Woooo...exciting. Crossing the border was no trouble. Next year we have to have passports for the girls though.
The hotel in Florence, Kentucky
After a long 8 hour day we ended up just south of Cincinati where we grabbed a place to sleep. Nothing exciting here but a neat water tower...y'all.
Gas N Smoke without the gas.
Just an interesting photo of a gas station converted into a smoke shop. Kind of gross really.
Alien Lamp Posts
I love the lamp posts along the highway. They look like grinning praying mantis-like aliens. Use your imagination.
The Rest Stop in Kentucky
We really enjoyed our drive through Kentucky. It was very pretty...rolling hills dotted with farms and small towns. I really wanted to stop and hike to some of the caves they have there...maybe next time when the girls are older.
