Wall Painting (approx 4 ft by 2 ft using Tempra paint, brushes, toys, sponges, balls, hands). This was a large painting we did, experimenting with different things we could use to make marks on the paper, Rolling a ball covered in paint, using sponges to stamp shapes on the paper and using toys dipped in the paint are some such items used. Rain's Map (approx 2ft by 3 ft using Tempra paint and stamps) - This painting is a map detailing some of Rain's favourite places. I ended up writing the locations right ON the map so I knew if she was making up new places or if she actually had specific locations on the paintings that she associated with realy places. On the map is listed the airport and airplanes, our house, Nana and Opa's house, Auntie Dani's house, Duncan B.C., The Science Centre and the Pet store.(Oct 2009)

This is Rains' picture of the Dreaded Vaccuum Thrush from the Beatles movie "Yellow Submarine". This is a monster found in the Sea of Monsters who has a bugle shaped nose and who sucks up all the other monsters, the yellow submarine, the entire sea and untilmately even itself. (Nov 2009)
